Austin Football Season, Momo’s Style

2 min read

Football season in Austin has a rhythm to it.

Saturday: burnt orange, tailgates, too much food, questionable parking decisions.

Sunday: do it all over again, just with the NFL.

And somewhere in there? A very cold Momo’s Michelada.

This season, we’re making it pretty easy to find one.

Saturdays: Find Us Around Texas Football

If you’re heading downtown for a Longhorns home game, keep Momo’s on the pregame itinerary.

You’ll be able to find us around the action at:

ATX Legends Tailgates

203 W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd Parking

Momo’s mix will be flowing at the ATX Legends tailgate, so if you’re already making the walk toward the stadium, you know where to make a pit stop.

KLBJ and Shiner FREE tailgate

18th & Colorado (Scottish Rite Theater)

This one has FREE Shiner Beer, KLBJ, and the Momo’s crew in person.

They open three hours before kickoff, which gives you plenty of time to grab a Michelada before things get serious.

Texas Home Games We’ll Be Around For

  • Sept. 12: Texas vs. Ohio State — 6:30 PM

  • Sept. 19: Texas vs. UTSA — 7:00 PM

  • Oct. 17: Texas vs. Florida — TBA

  • Oct. 24: Texas vs. Ole Miss — TBA

  • Oct. 31: Texas vs. Mississippi State — TBA

  • Nov. 21: Texas vs. Arkansas — 2:30 PM

Visiting Austin for one of these games? Come find us.

Local and somehow still haven’t tried Momo’s?

We have questions.

Sundays Belong to Fieldhouse

Saturday gets the Longhorns.

Sunday gets Fieldhouse.

We’ll be there every Sunday throughout football season for the early games, food, football, and Momo’s.

And these are Yellow Cup Events, so bring your cup if you’ve got one — or grab one there.

If you haven’t heard about the Yellow Cup yet, here’s the important part:

Yellow Cup + designated Momo’s event = free Michelada upgrade.

Not a bad way to spend a Sunday.

Bring Somebody Who Hasn’t Had One Yet

One of our favorite things about these events isn’t just seeing the people who already love Momo’s.

It’s watching them drag over a friend and say:

“You need to try this.”

That’s basically how the Momo’s community grows.

So come for the football. Stay for a Michelada. Bring the cousin, coworker, college friend, neighbor, or whoever is somehow still living a Momo’s-free life.

We’ll take care of the rest.

See yellow. Say hello. See you this football season.
