operation: Red River
Texas vs. Oklahoma.
Burnt orange vs. crimson.
Longhorns vs. Sooners.
And, if we have anything to say about it...
Mini Momo's vs. sobriety of flavor.
This year, we're giving Momo's fans a mission.
Your objective is simple.
Your dignity is optional.

BUT FIRST: WHAT THE HELL IS THE RED RIVER RIVALRY?
For anyone who has somehow avoided one of college football's biggest grudges for the last century, here's the quick version.
The Red River Rivalry is the annual football showdown between the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners.
And "rivalry" might actually be underselling it.
The two teams first played in 1900. The game has been played in Dallas since 1912 and became part of the State Fair of Texas tradition in 1929.
Which means generations of Texans and Oklahomans have been gathering in Dallas to yell at each other long before most of us were alive.
Beautiful.
The game is played at the Cotton Bowl during the State Fair, with the stadium famously split between Texas burnt orange and Oklahoma crimson.
For a few hours, there is basically no neutral territory.
Except maybe the Michelada.
Micheladas bring people together.
We're not saying Momo's can heal the Texas–OU rivalry.
But we're also not saying it can't.
RED RIVER RIVALRY 2026
📅 Saturday, October 10, 2026
📍 Cotton Bowl — Dallas, Texas
🏈 Texas Longhorns vs. Oklahoma Sooners
⏰ Kickoff: 2:30 PM CT
And somewhere among all that burnt orange, crimson, Fletcher's Corny Dogs and questionable yelling...
We want to see Mini Momo's.
YOUR MISSION, SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT
We're calling on the bravest Momo's fans.
The most committed.
The slightly unhinged.
The people who look at a Mini Momo's and think:
You're coming with me.
Your challenge:
Get a photo or video of your Mini Momo's joining your Red River Rivalry adventure.
Make yourself a Michelada where you're allowed to.
Snap the evidence.
Post it to social media.
Tag @momosmichelada.
That's it.
Well...
Almost.
"BUT HOW DO I GET MINI MOMO'S IN THERE?"
Great question.
Not our department.
We are a Michelada company.
Not an international smuggling organization.
Follow all Cotton Bowl and State Fair rules regarding what you can bring inside.
If Mini Momo's somehow appears in your Red River photos...
We don't need the origin story.
We don't need a diagram.
We don't need names.
We just need photographic evidence.
WHAT DO I WIN?
Ah.
Now you're interested.
Complete the challenge and you could score:
A FREE 1-LITER BOTTLE OF MOMO'S.
That's right.
Tiny Momo's goes on an adventure.
Big Momo's comes home.
Seems fair.
To enter:
1. Bring Mini Momo's along for your Red River Rivalry adventure.
2. Take a photo or video featuring Mini Momo's.
3. Share it on social media.
4. Tag @momosmichelada so we can actually find you.
5. Bask in the admiration of your peers.
We'll take it from there.
TEXAS FAN? OKLAHOMA FAN? WE DON'T CARE.
Momo's is based in Austin.
We know where we live.
But for this challenge?
Micheladas have no allegiance.
Longhorn?
Come on.
Sooner?
Fine. You can play too.
House divided?
Honestly, you probably need the Michelada more than anyone.
The only team we're officially rooting for here is Team Momo's.
Convenient, we know.
ONE RIVALRY. 126 YEARS OF BEEF. ONE VERY SMALL BOTTLE.
The Red River Rivalry has survived more than a century of touchdowns, heartbreak, trash talk, fried food and families refusing to speak to each other until Monday.
Now we're adding one more tradition.
Mini Momo's.
So on October 10, grab your game-day gear, head to Dallas, enjoy the State Fair, yell responsibly, eat irresponsibly and bring Mini Momo's along for the ride.
Take the picture.
Make the Michelada.
Tag @momosmichelada.
And whatever you do...
don't tell us how you pulled it off.
Some things are better left between you, Mini Momo's and Big Tex.
