Crockpot Steak Fajitas with a Michelada Twist: A Flavorful and Easy Dinner

In today's video, Chef Garrett shows you how to make a delicious and easy Crockpot Steak Fajita recipe. We're adding a unique twist to this classic dish by using Momo's Michelada Mix. It's the perfect blend of flavors that will take your fajitas to the next level.

WHAT YOU NEED

½ cup Momo’s Michelada mix

  • 2-3 lbs skirt steak

  • ½ white onion

  • 1 red bell pepper

  • 2 jalapeño peppers

  • ½ tbsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • Salt 

  • Pepper

For serving

  • Tortillas 

  • Shredded cheese

HOW IT’S DONE

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil to the pan and sear the slices of steak for 2-3 minutes, do this in batches to allow an even sear. You are not fully cooking the steak. 

  • While the steak is cooking, slice the onion, bell pepper, and jalapeños. 

  • Once the steak is browned, transfer to a crockpot. Season with salt and pepper. 

  • Add sliced onion, bell pepper, jalapeños, chili powder, cumin, and Momo’s. Then mix until evenly coated. 

  • Turn the crockpot to high and let it cook for an hour and a half. Turn off the crockpot and give the fajitas a mix.

  • Melt some shredded cheese on a tortilla then assemble your fajitas and enjoy!
