In today's video, Chef Garrett shows you how to make a delicious and easy Crockpot Steak Fajita recipe. We're adding a unique twist to this classic dish by using Momo's Michelada Mix. It's the perfect blend of flavors that will take your fajitas to the next level.
WHAT YOU NEED
½ cup Momo’s Michelada mix
2-3 lbs skirt steak
½ white onion
1 red bell pepper
2 jalapeño peppers
½ tbsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
SaltÂ
Pepper
For serving
TortillasÂ
Shredded cheese
HOW IT’S DONE
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil to the pan and sear the slices of steak for 2-3 minutes, do this in batches to allow an even sear. You are not fully cooking the steak.Â
While the steak is cooking, slice the onion, bell pepper, and jalapeños.Â
Once the steak is browned, transfer to a crockpot. Season with salt and pepper.Â
Add sliced onion, bell pepper, jalapeños, chili powder, cumin, and Momo’s. Then mix until evenly coated.Â
Turn the crockpot to high and let it cook for an hour and a half. Turn off the crockpot and give the fajitas a mix.
Melt some shredded cheese on a tortilla then assemble your fajitas and enjoy!
