Hey Flavor Fanatics!
Guess what? Your favorite Michelada mix just got a crispy, golden upgrade! I'm talking about Momo's Michelada Mix, and we're taking it straight to the fryer with these absolutely addictive fried chicken wings. Trust me, your taste buds are about to throw a party.
Recently, I decided to put Momo's to the ultimate test in my kitchen, and the results were... well, let's just say I'm already planning my next batch. We're talking about the perfect balance of tangy, spicy, and savory, all wrapped up in a crispy, golden package.
Here's the recipe that's about to change your wing game forever:

Momo’s Fried Chicken Wings: A Flavor Explosion!
Ingredients:
4 tbsp Momo’s Michelada Mix
1-2 tbsp Momo’s Stupid Rim Salt
1 lb chicken wings
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1-2 cups all-purpose flour
2 eggs
2-3 cups oil
Ranch (for dipping, because, why not?)
Directions:
Whisk 2 eggs in a bowl. Add 1-2 cups of flour to another bowl, then add 1 tbsp of Momo’s Stupid Rim Salt.
Toss 1 wing in the flour mix, fully coat, transfer to the egg bowl, fully coat, then return the wing to the flour mixture, fully coat, and set aside. Repeat for all wings.
Heat a pot or deep skillet over medium-high heat, then add 2-3 cups of oil for frying. The oil should be around 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Fry chicken wings in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry for 5 minutes, remove, and pat dry. Fry for an additional 5 minutes, then transfer to a large mixing bowl.
While the wings are frying, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add butter, and mix until melted, being careful not to burn it. Add 4 tbsp of Momo’s Michelada Mix, and let it cook for 3-4 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken.
Dust the fried chicken wings with additional Momo’s Stupid Rim Salt, pour the sauce over them, and toss until evenly coated. Up the recipe if you like saucier wings!
Transfer to a plate, and dig in!
Rating: 9/10
Difficulty: 6/10
What I’d do different:
Next time, I’d definitely amp up the seasoning in the flour. I also learned that keeping a closer eye on the butter sauce is key, so maybe cooking it on a lower heat or waiting until the wings are done frying would be a better choice.
Why Momo’s?
This recipe highlights the versatility of Momo’s Michelada Mix. It's not just for drinks! Its unique blend of spices and flavors adds an incredible depth to fried chicken.
